Wedding Cake Rock, Sydney

One of the places to go that's just as great for tourists as it is Sydneysiders is the Wedding Cake Rock in the Royal National Park. It's not necessarily the rock itself that people go for but the amazing scenery of the walk itself. Generally if you take the straight route it's a two hour walk there and back. But for those of you with an adventurous spirit there are plenty of side paths leading down to the coast that are definitely worth the detour.

To arrive on the walk you have two choices; drive to Bundeena and start the walk from there or catch the ferry to Bundeena from Cronulla. The wharf is just behind the station and an adult one way is $6.40. From Bundeena wharf the walk begins on the other side of the town. After that signs are placed frequently and it's almost impossible to get lost, just follow the coast!

If you travel around June to August then watch out for some whales. If it's rained even three days prior then proper walking boots are probably a great idea too.

  1. It's really cool if we have venue wedding over here. Are you having recommendations of pretty event locations over here? Please share some of the affordable ones. My sister would love to arrange her wedding at such place. Also have to see if party supplies and drink providers are available. Will once search all options.
