I went to Manly Beach this week and I have to say it's probably one of the most beautiful beaches (or places in general) that I've ever been to. Although it looks like an incredibly overcast day in the photos, which it was, it was still a roasting, sunny, 30 degree day. What I didn't realise about Manly is that when you arrive by ferry from the city you arrive on what seems to be a pretty small beach. Just a five minute walk through shops and on the other side you reach the main beach.
